Summer Camp

SUMMER CAMP

Summer Camp Overview

At our summer camp, campers will enjoy a wide range of activities throughout the week, while remaining safe and following proper CDC guidelines and protocols. Each week will consist of a fun craft, team building activity, visit from the ice cream man, a special lunch, and more! Every day, weather permitting, we will enjoy outside activities including: basketball, soccer, kickball, water play and more! Below is an example of a week at Time For You Summer Camp.

Monday-Arts And Crafts Day!

Ex. The Monday before or of July 4th, the children will decorate their own Fourth of July shirt or reusable tote using their handprints and star stencils.

Tuesday-Visitor Day! And Fun Lunch!

We will provide an on-site “fun lunch” which can include: Venezia’s pasta and meatballs, Red Front pizza, IHOP pancakes, your choice meal from Panera or Olive Garden etc.

Wednesday-Field Trip

(pending community health and wellness with COVID-19)

Depending on the state and safety of the community, our camp may go on one field trip a week. It is most important to us to keep the children and staff safe and healthy throughout the summer. If we are able to go on any type of field trip, the destination must ensure they will be able to house us in a safe and healthy manner. An example of this is heading to the bowling alley to bowl a few games, and enjoy delicious pizza! In order to ensure our safety, the bowling alley may rent out their entire facility for just our camp for a couple of hours.

Thursday- Special Visitor/ on site Field trip

Every Thursday, we will have a visitor or an on-site field trip come to our facility to teach and engage the children in all types of activities.

Visitor Ex. We have had a high school science teacher bring in Legos and encourage the children to construct a boat that will be able to float in water. After working in a group of all ages, their boat will be tested in a tub of water to see if and how long it will float.

On site field tri Ex: We have had brookside museum and arts and glass come to our facility to facilitate an on-site trip experience!

Friday-On-Site Team Building And Mr. Ding A Ling

Every Friday, our campers will be split up into small groups and given an activity, game or scenario that they will have to work together to solve!

Ex: Send groups on a scavenger hunt based off of something they have been working on at camp or current event, or participating in Summer Camp Jeopardy!

Mr. Ding-a-Ling will also visit our summer camp every Friday for our afternoon snack!
