ABOUT US

ABOUT US

We are a school aged program located in Clifton Park NY, offering after school care, morning care, full day care for school breaks/holidays and summer camp. Our team is dedicated to making sure your child is not only developing in a safe and happy environment, but a fun and forward thinking atmosphere as well. It is our goal to develop every child in these five areas:

Building Creativity

Children build their own self-esteem by engaging in dramatic play, music, art exploration and group activities. We encourage creativity through guided activities such as our “build a boat that floats” science experiment.

Communication

The use of communication is encouraged through problem solving and group activities. Small group play enhances cooperation skills and develops confidence.

Nutrition and Exercise

Large motor play, group games and exercising are all ways to educate children on how to live a healthy lifestyle. Nutritional books and cooking are examples of how we implement what the children learn.

Cognitive Learning

We provide theme-based activities, projects and other opportunities for children of all ages to learn from and apply to everyday life. For example, during our incubation unit we will educate the children about the life cycle of a chicken.

Community Participation

We will give children the tools and information necessary to participate and give back to their community through on-site community service such as making holiday cards for veterans and seniors.
